ALEC BRADLEY CIGARS EXPANDS PORTFOLIO IN EUROPE

We are humbled  by the reception we got in Europe. The US market is still our big market, but now we are in 36 different countries, and all the retailers we are talking to are happy about the growth in their regions.

During these years, the InterTabac trade show in Dortmund has become a very important window into the European market for the company.

Here we learn more about what happens in Europe and find out about changes, for instance with the new labelling requirements. It is vital to our growth in Europe. We also get to meet face to face and create projects with our distributors and retailers.

One thing that Alec Bradley has done in order to grow in the European market is a yearly road tour of Germany. We will continue with that, but also do more events in other countries. The only problem is that with the new laws, you can’t hand out cigars in some places.

In 2017, the company will also release new products. There will be an expansion worldwide of two of our many lines that are already in the marketplace.

In addition to that, Alec Bradley wants to expand its exposure with its own distributors.

Not all of our distributors take all of our brands, so we want to grow our portfolio with each distributor. We will also do some specific products for different regions and countries.

It’s a matter of trying to continue to stimulate the consumer and not become stagnant. With the limitations in the US, because of the Food and Drug Administration FDA regulations, maybe Europe is where we can be more creative right now.
