SPORTS EVENTS CIGARS

Here at Taylors Tobacconists of Bond Street Brighton, we recommend ten of the most enjoyable cigars to smoke during sports events such as football, tennis, golf, fishing, horse racing, F1, etc. In no particular order we have:

1 – AJ Fernandez (Nicaraguan Cigar): This cigar presents gentle woody and leathery aromas with a slightly sweet spice, as well as espresso notes. It is multilayered and harmoniously blended and dances playfully between spicy and sweet.

2 – Balmoral Gordito (Dominican Republic Cigar): From the start, this develops a marzipan and chocolatey sweetness and some pepperiness; add to this woody, roasted and earthy aromas, creamy coffee notes, tannin and spice. Very pleasant smoke.

3 – Davidoff 2000 (Dominican Republic Cigar): To begin with, this beautiful cigar releases a noticeable peppery kick; then it becomes gentle and creamy. Beneath the compact tower of ash, a razor-sharp burn line and a lot of spice, creamy coffee, and pleasant woody aromas.

4 – Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill (Cuban Cigar): This legendary cigar has cedar aromas that are carried by notes of nuts, spiciness and sweet creaminess. An elegant , subtle blend with a delicate acidic touch; very gentle and harmonious.

5 – Montecristo Edmundo (Cuban Cigar): This magnificent cigar has a sweet, slightly salty, peppery and creamy start. The earthy, nutty and cedar aromas are underscored by cocoa sweetness, liquorice and spices. A superb velvety cigar.

6 – Cohiba Robusto (Cuban Cigar): A delicate sweetness and notes of nuts, leather, chocolate and milk coffee make for a pleasant start. In the second third, the creamy cigar becomes somewhat harsher. It develops a light pepperiness, the scent of bread, spice and sweetness.
