We at Taylors Tobacconists are a shop in Bond Street Brighton and have been one of the main cigar and tobacco establishments in the United Kingdom for over 35 years. We have been awarded the Golden-Award for our knowledge and expertise when it comes to Cuban cigars and New World cigars.

Our team has selected 10 of the best Cuban cigars that can be enjoyed by enthusiasts and connoisseurs at any time. They can also be prestigious gift items for family or friends at special events and celebrations.

In no particular order, our top 10 Cuban cigars are:

1 – Cohiba Robusto: This beautiful cigar is characterised by wood aromas such as pine and cedar. The creamy smoke is reminiscent of milk coffee and a touch of nutmeg. Despite its fresh notes, this mild cigar is somewhat dry on the palate.

2 – Ramon Allones Specially Selected: This large ring-gauge is mild, at most, medium strength. Full bodied woody aromas and cocoa, combined with a salty sweet flavour can be discerned in the creamy smoke. To this is added some eucalyptus, pepper and spices.

3 – Montecristo OPEN Regata: This elegant cigar develops a gentle, mild bodied smoke with delicate bitter and salty elements, It is mild but aromatic and develops nut aromas with an element of melissa.

4 – Romeo Y Julieta Churchill: The medium bodied roasted and nutty aromas of this Churchill are accompanied by a salty note as well as an underlying caramel sweetness. Occasionally also fruity notes. A medium strength cigar with a fantastic draw.

5 – Trinidad Coloniales: The finest aromas and blends of the leaves combine in this medium strength cigar with its sweet and slightly bitter and acidic notes. The taste is reminiscent of dark chocolate and almonds.

6 – Partagas Serie D No.4: A medium bodied Robusto with a phenomenal draw. It develops earthy, leathery and roasted aromas, is delicately tart with a mossy and fruity element. Underscored by cinnamon sweetness, red pepper and cafe latte, very exciting to the palate.

7 – H Upmann Magnum 54: This cigar format starts with discreet woody and earthy aromas and is underscored by a subtle sweetness. As a counterpoint, it also has a pleasant peppery sharpness. After the first third, the cigar gains considerably in aroma and body.
